I think your line 'Never believe what BT tells you' would however be a bit difficult to swallow for many - coming as it does from a politician.

No offence, I'm just a cynic.

The biter bit!;
The electorate believes politicians as you believe BT. We keep electing governments in the hope that they will see the fault and fix it.... they never do. Perhaps the BT engineers are like politicians in that they only see what they want to see and don't trace problems back to their root cause. Perhaps if parliament could pass a new law against faulty phone lines all would be well.</description>
