BT - again and again
Never believe what BT tells you. I was told the fault was in the exchange and they had remedied it. When I tried to use my broadband again I discovered it was still not working.
It’s back to the drawing board, waiting in for an engineer to call, in the hope that the next one will be better able to find the faulk.

John Redwood has been the Member of Parliament for Wokingham since 1987. First attending Kent College, Canterbury, he graduated from Magdalen College...
Ahaa Mr Redwood,
“Never believe what BT tells you”
The biter bit!;
The electorate believes politicians as you believe BT. We keep electing governments in the hope that they will see the fault and fix it…. they never do. Perhaps the BT engineers are like politicians in that they only see what they want to see and don’t trace problems back to their root cause. Perhaps if parliament could pass a new law against faulty phone lines all would be well.
Hi John, it’s me again.
This could take a while. When you get it eventually sorted out why not let me know and I will write it up for you in our magazine.
I think your line ‘Never believe what BT tells you’ would however be a bit difficult to swallow for many - coming as it does from a politician.
No offence, I’m just a cynic.
Regards
Ian
If you’ve reported a ‘faulk’ on the line they might not know what you’re going on abouk.
