    Good idea Wayne. I’m totally against the idea of more state funding, on the basis that why should the entrenched parties be kept entrenched? Why should new (small) parties be prevented from competing for our votes.

    But if we are to have state funding, it needs to be very transparent and engineered so that the money goes to reinfoce democracy and not just get wasted or get spent in ways which make people even more fed up with politicians.

    They are amending it now. I can be an idealists but I know the present parties hate any freedom that the public currently have.
