He is running huge risks by abandoning the referendum promise, by dumping the Trade Unions from their policy role, and introducing a Public Sector pay freeze. He's destroying the consensus that holds the Labour Party together. There are some big hitters on the Labour back benches now in Charles Clark and John Reid.
