Er... what was the PM "pouring" over the polls? But it was indeed a great weekend.

Get the words 'The Great Clucking Fist' into common circulation as soon as possible. It is just so apt.

Its a shame as I thought we would win any upcoming election.

Brown has been shown to have feet of clay - much like Australia.

England victorious over Australia and Scotland in the same day !

Yes, a great day wasn't it.

Tomorrow morning's TV choice between Andrew Marr interviewing Brown on BBC and Lewis Hamilton possibly making Formula One history on ITV will be tricky.

At least we know Hamilton will be using all his professional skills to win his skirmish with Alonso and Raikonnen.

Unfortunately, we can't be sure that Andrew Marr will be doing the same in his skirmish with the PM.

Many bloggers and political commentators describe him as Brown's 'pet reporter'. If, indeed, he is a 'pet', then he has no right being the media's spokesman in what is such an important interview, and it just goes to show the depths to which Auntie Pravda has descended.

I think I'll be watching Hamilton and will record Mr Marr's efforts for later viewing.

Reply: Wise choice! I won't be holding my breath for a strong interview from Marr either!

Yes, what a day. England won because they wanted it and were up for it. Gordon Brown has now been humilated in front of the British people because he didn't want it and wasn't up for it. Gordon Brown collapsed the scrum. Not to worry though he can't hide forever. Gordon Browns cowardice has been exposed and the clock is now ticking down. By the time Labour face the people they will be so unpopular they will face meltdown.
