Clegg seems to have given a libertarian impression (Orange Book gang leader?) which is intellectually at odds with even bigger government at the EU level and green religious fundamentalism. The Lib Dem leadership election is their last chance to decide what they stand for - liberty or big brother. We are seeing again that they themselves have no idea what they stand for. In the general scheme of things the two drips are irrelevant, yet curiosity gets the better of us and we watch as the two drips slowly inch their way along. Excitement begins to mount as the two drips near the end of the window pane, who will win?, which drip will prove the stronger?
