May I put in a plea for consideration for small business taxation at the Selsdon Fringe Group meeting. Thanks to successive Brown budgets, it is now perfectly possible that a small company can be paying as much as 1110% more in corporation tax next year than would have been the case in 2005. Over the last few years small businesses in the likes of China and India, many of which were no more than one man bands at the outset, have grown to be powerful corporations in their own right. Their exports have been the engines that have driven there countries' economic miracles, whereas here Gordon Brown has often chosen to turn to the equivalent when the barrel needed to scraped, destroying their cashflow and their ability to survive in the process, let alone compete.

"Britain and Europe", pedantic probably but do you mean Europe or the EU. I do wish that all would use the correct terminology, Europe is the continent of, once, Nation states, the EU is a political construct to put power over us all in the hands of fraudsters, unelected and unaccountable. In short the worst kind of government imaginable aided and abetted by our own politicians. A correction to the system is needed, not more ogf the same.

John, any chance you can raise the theme of ending taxation for the lowest earners? Once those in modest pay are in a position to keep their wages, there will no longer be a need for the politically motivated tax-credits that make people and voters dependent on the state for a top-up.
