Happy Christmas!
Let the turkey be roasted
And the chestnuts toasted
Ring out the Christmas bell
Stoke up the fire well
Sample the yuletide wine
On Christmas pudding dine
Kiss under mistletoe
Look out at moon and snow
Bring cheer, love and comfort home
Spend not your time alone.

On Christmas Day you can’t get sore.
Your fellow man you must adore.
You’ve time to hate him all the more
The other three hundred and sixty-four.

I kissed a pretty young lady yesterday for Christmas and now have four days off from work.Church attendance is sadly not possible as I have lost my voice but am keenly awaiting Champagne,Christmas Pudding,Turkey&stuffing,Christmas cake and so on.
Am certainly looking forward to more kisses & cuddles from said young woman in 2010 !
Joy To The World- The Lord Is Come !I miss not receiving the Blessed Sacrament but say the Rosary later and am hoping to be given Communion at home by one of my local Priests.I might have to whisper if I want them to hear my confession but am hoping that The Anointing of The Sick will help.
One should count ones blessings – fine friends like dear old David Stevens and great goodies from M&S which I get for less thanks to my staff discount card. They are a superb employer when you can save a bundle for Christmas.
So I count my blessings and wish John Redwood and all who post on this excellent web-site the very Merriest of Christmases ! I will remember you all in my prayers !

Spend not your time alone.
So true. If you are alone and sad then find a church service – even if you don’t believe. ESPECIALLY if you don’t believe.
Happy Christmas to you, yours and all of your readers.
